What is Payflip?¶
Payflip is a unified money layer. It abstracts how funds are stored, moved, and used across chains, apps, and currencies, so you interact with a single balance instead of juggling systems.
The core idea¶
In today's crypto ecosystem, money is fragmented by design. Funds exist across different chains, different wallets, and different asset formats. Using them normally requires coordinating between all of these.
Payflip removes that requirement. You operate as if all your funds exist in one place, regardless of where they actually are.
How it feels to use¶
From your perspective, there is one balance. It is instantly usable.
- Payments are made to people — names or emails, not blockchain addresses.
- Amounts are entered in a consistent denomination, like dollars.
- You don't select chains, bridge funds, swap assets, or manage gas.
You describe what you want to do. The system figures out how.
What Payflip abstracts¶
Payflip works at three levels, mirroring the three ways money is fragmented today:
Balance. All your funds appear as one balance, independent of location. The system picks which underlying funds to use.
Execution. Moving, converting, and settling happen automatically in the background. You never manually bridge or pre-position funds.
Interface. A single interaction replaces a stack of tools — wallets, bridges, exchanges, and apps. The experience stays the same regardless of the underlying system.
What Payflip is not¶
- Not a wallet tied to a single chain
- Not a bridge that moves funds between chains
- Not an application limited to one ecosystem
It's a unifying layer across all of them.
In one line¶
Payflip turns fragmented on-chain money into a single, usable balance.
